I work as HR for a Restaurant company.
According to the bill that was singed about labor and wages in 2020 talks about the salary and hourly employees, well, they are processing the payroll wrong I already advice them they haven't done anything about it.
It is also bothering me that due to the situation we are living nowadays with the Coronavirus they changed me from salary to hourly I am not really happy about it when in my offer letter said that my salary is certain amount and they will pay me that plus an extra for me to have my health insurance.
What should I do ? I am only working right now hourly and 2 1/2 days thats not what they offered in my Employee offer letter.
Unfortunately, if you are not under a contract, there is little you can do. There is no guarantee for a set pay and you can be changed from salary to hourly. AS long as you are paid at least minimum wage, its legal.
