i was verbally told by a finance manager that a warranty service would be of no extra cost on my lease contract, but it was stated on the contract that the warranty was an additional charge. Several days later when i inquired about the payoff of the lease, it was significantly higher than the finance manager originally told me it should be. After some investigation, it was because of those additional warranty costs that the finance manager assured me were non existent. Is this fair grounds for fraudulent misrepresentation?
Representation means what is represented to you in writing and court / law want you to act on it. it is not a mis representation rather a misunderstanding on your part
