The child is 5 and has been told multiple times to not hit or hurt the dog previously and prior during the same day the incident happened. the other siblings have beaten him with sticks previously.
'Poor dog. Anyone could sue and there's no controlling or predicting whether someone would. What you describe sounds like a reasonable basis for a defense or counterclaim. Your question remains open for three weeks. Try contacting one of the attorneys in the Animal/Dog law section and see if they could give you a minute or two on how Minnesota animal law addresses this. Good luck

Possible Suit Against Public High School
My teenager in the 10th grade was assulted at school. The student that assulted her had someone video tape it and put it on MySpace. My daughter then went to an adult working at the school and forced my daughter to take her to the other student. My daughter was VERY reluctant in doing so but obeyed. When the adult and my daughter got to the class the student attacked my daughter again. Now the video has over 3,000 views and is growing. Do I have a case to sue? If so could I also sue the school for putting my daughter in unnecessary harm?
Bastard adoption
My husband my have gotten a old lady pregnant who is also married. She divorced and remarried and the new husband is adopting the baby. If I divorce my husband and ask for a paternity test and it is my husbands is the adoption legal. She knew all along that her ex-husband was not the father.
