filing for Divorce
Is there an inexpensive way to get a divorce in the state of Louisiana? $500 is what most attorneys want and that is not including filing fees and serving. My future ex is going down a really bad path with her life and I don't want to be connected to it. I have already paid an attorney $7000 for an emergancy custody order for my daughter which was granted. So it would just be a simple desolution of marriage.

$7,000 for an emergency order should have included the divorce. Asking another attorney to do something on the cheap after you paid that kind of money won't get you many takers.
