my ex husband gave my daughter (who is 5) gifts for christmas then told her he had to leave them at his house. Is it legal that he wont let her take her own gifts home?
There is no law that prevents this. From a practical standpoint, your daughter will have toys to play with when she visits your ex, and you will not have to trip over or clean them up... he will.
