My ex is in the U.S. Army. He called and informed me that he is unable to renew his passport because he owes $12,000 in back child support. He asked me if I would call to have it removed and I told him no. He's been in the Army for 6 years now and has been deployed twice. Will he ever be able to get a passport? or would he have to pay me first before his next deployment?

This is his problem. Let him figure it out. He needs to talk to a family law attorney and make payment arrangements.
