my neighbors came into my yard and assalted my 50 y.o dad i went inside to get my gun but didn't go outside with it i stood in the doorway and i got charged with agg assalt and disturbing the peace it's a misdeameanor but i have similar charges from 5 years ago if i plead guilty what should i expect

You have the right to protect yourself or someone else with reasonable force. Disturbing the peace can only occur on public property. You are not guilty of either if you remained within the above bounds. Both are misdemeanors and carry 6 months and/or a fine.
