My son is believed to be the father of an unborn child due in April. He is willing after DNA testing (because there is a possibility that his father may also be the father of the unborn child) to support and help raise the baby. He is actually very excited. The mother is refusing to let him know when she goes to hospital, is not giving the baby his last name, and says he will not be allowed visitation until the baby is 3-4 months old because she needs bonding time with the new born. What rights will my son have? The baby is due in April and I am thinking we should already be speaking with and hiring a lawyer.
