Apartment lease responibility by executor
My friend withwhom I have shared an apartment for over 40 yrs recently passed away. We had previously signed a new lease for that apt. Is the executor of his estate responsible for continuing to pay the deceased's share of the rent for the remainder of the lease?

I would need to review a copy of the actual lease agreement, but typically, the estate would be liable on a contract signed by the decedent.
