It is nearly impossible for a person to palce a lein on their own property. They may be able to put aclaim, if not alien on the portion owend by another. However, where an individual owns some or all of apiece of property, and they also own shares in a corporation, that corporation may be able to obtain lien for debts owed, after filing suit.

Good luck
