child before my husband and I married
If my husband dies can his adult children legal make me sell the property that we have to give them a share of the money?
Re: child before my husband and I married
This is the reason why your husband should have a will. If there is no will, then the state decides how the property is distributed, unless it is titled as joint tenancy or tenancy by the entirities. If there is a right of survivorship in the property that is jointly titled, it may not have to pass through probate, and there is also something called a beneficiary deed that can be used to pass property without going through probate.
You should seek expert legal counsel to help you and your husband develop a workable estate plan. This is less costly than a legal fight after death.
