Child support - wages garnished

What is the legal process that I would have to in order to change the collection of my child support. As of the past three years I have been bound by my court proceedings to have my wages garnished. I have been employed continouslly throughout this time and am up to date on payments as of now. I have no intentions of not paying my child support and am willing to have my bank account deducted by the State. Right now am just in the position of changing employer several times in the next several years and know that getting the Human Resources Department at various employments to acknowledge the 'wage garnishes' is a challenge and I don't want to delay the payment. I would like to know if I have an options for having the 'wages garnished' and could begin having the State take the money from my bank account or is the employer method set in stone.

Re: Child support - wages garnished

Normally persons who are employed have their child support obligation deducted from their wages, but it is still that individual's responsibility to see that payment is properly made if for some reason it is not taken out of their wages. You can give each new employer a certified copy of your wage withholding order to speed things along. Just be sure you make all of the in between payments on time and for the correct amount.
