Divorce and Paternity

My (legal) ''wife'' and I have been separated for 2 years now since she left me for another man. She is now 7 months pregnant with his child and is refusing to sign the divorce papers. Can I be held responsible for this new child since we are legally married still? We have a daughter together. I pay child support directly to my daughters savings account, but there is no court order for support, HELP! She lives in New Jersey and I live in Pennsylvania.

Re: Divorce and Paternity

No assuming of course a paternity test proved it wasn't yours.

After 2 years separation you should be able to finalize the divorce. Assuming one of the grounds you filed for was separation.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
