I am in the state of Illinois, dealing with Rental Property. Five Days Notice is an all too common form a Landlord uses. My Question is simply this- is it (a) Legal to Copy over the words from a form I purchased at the store and use my LLC letterhead at the top AND (b) will the LLC letterhead hurt what the overall purpose of the form is trying to accomplish the eyes of the court? I just want to stop paying for this form when I could type it out myself and click print, but more importantly instead of handwriting the specifics, I can type it out, and while I'm at it, look a little more legitamite with my informatino on the header.

You can block and copy straight from the statute which can be located through the state's website or there are a number of organizations for landlords that make the forms available online.
