Liability

I had a small rental unit that recently burned down. I'm in the process of getting contractor bids to rebuild. My insurance agent tells me he cannot order the demolition of this building until he gets 3 quotes on the rebuild. Meanwhile, the former tenant continues to go into the property to try to retrieve whatever she can. The Building and Safety Department has deemed it unsafe to go in and has posted it on the structure. Am I liable for any bodily harm that may occur when she enters this property or does the posting exonerate me from liability?

Re: Liability

It would be best if you fence the property to secure it to the best of your ability. And post "No trespassing" signs on the fence.
