Statute of Limitations for Engineers and Surveyors
What is the Statute of Limitations for negligence and or Breach of Contract in New York State? Am I responsible for an error I made on a plan 12 years ago?

A negligence claim must be made within three years of the date of accident. A breach of contract claim can be made up to six years following the breach. If a child under 18 is injured on account of negligence, the three years won't begin to run until the child turns 18. Best, M. E. Zuller
