I have a scheduled hearing prior to Covid 19 but the court is closed for not essential functions so what should i do ? I haven’t received any paperwork about a continuance
See if you can contract the clerk of the court or of your judge IF you cannot find direction on the internet for your court.
Good question. You need to ask someone in charge of the particular court. You don't say where the hearing is or what kind it is. Certain kinds of hearings are considered urgent and are still going to proceed, however most kinds aren't. Call the Court Administrator or Family Court or whoever scheduled the hearing.
