Trying to get off of my lease due to a domestic dispute

My Ex-Fiance and I had decided to move in togethter. We both put our names on the lease. Shortly after we moved in together, we got into a series of domestic disputes. A couple of times the police had to come to the apartment and put him out. Since then, I have moved out of the apartment in hopes to move on with my life. But what is happening is my Ex-Fiance is holding me to my half of the rent. I have no possesions there in the apartment. I spoke with the Landlord and asked him if it were possible for him to take me off the lease since I had given him the keys,a notarized letter of request for my name to be off the lease and a copy of both police reports. He still does not wish to take me off the lease. What do I do?

A NY L-T court just found in my favor on an eviction and a judgment against the 2 members of a NY LLC is impending.

One of the members likely has no assets. The other has an interest in a business (another NY LLC).

Can I attach, and either take ownership of his interest in the LLC, or garnish distributions from that LLC, or in some other way use his interest in the LLC to recoup some of my loss (some of the judgment awarded me)?

My ex boyfriend broke up with me 2 months ago and I had come to live with him at his mom from Miami to NYC at 8 months preganant. He actually told me to move out and go to my mom's who luckly is also here in NYC. The thing is that I need to get Legal Custody of our now 17 months baby and be able to move on and regain my life in miami. I own my own photography business and have allowed a friend of mine sell my photographs under my name for me, he purchased from me my photographs with my signature, and he advertised them as mine and we've had this agreement for 15 years. I recently discovered that he had my signature removed and was copying my photgraphs and forging my signature and selling them off as mine. We had no formal business contract and he is behind in payments of $20,000. I do not know the best route to go on this, should I press forgery and copyright charges? What is the best way to have him repay his debt if I take his business away from him (which was selling my picture)?

If we owe $4000.00 and they already took $500.00 from our bank account can we decide how much we able to pay each month or does the creditor decide how much we have to pay. What is the least amount percentage wise do we have to send?

Although corporate emails belong to the business, is it legal for a business to access a former employee's email 6 months after they are gone, retrieve new emails sent to former employee by mistake and then respond back with quotes as if it was coming from me and from my former email address.

i took on a freelance web design project for a friend's friend and had drawn up a simple contract. the client then began to change the nature of agreed upon terms at which point i had said i can't work with her anymore. i tried to settled with her lawyer for making installments on the money received ($7100) but was told they did not want to wait to receive it all. i received a summons for lawsuit for approx. $21k. i can't afford a lawyer but don't know how else to handle this. if i go to court and say lose, will i still be able to pay in installments or is it something that will be demanded in full amount. will i be arrested? also, what if i no longer live in the state where this is all happening (ny)?
