Cohabitation Laws

I lived with my boyfriend for 4 years, just recently moved into his house for 30 days. I want to go get my furniture and remaining clothes, he has probably already changed the locks. He also have some of my furniture in storage, in his name. What are my legal rights and how can I go about getting my furniture and clothing items back.

Re: Cohabitation Laws

The obvious first step is to act like two adults and work it out. You don't mention making that attempt. Involving lawyers and police without trying that first would likely only lead to more negative action by one or both parties.
