In a divorce does a wife have the legal right to live in the home for 3 years if the house was purchased prior to marriage and if the names on the deed are the husband and both his parents divided equally. I assume you don't have children because you didn't mention them. You also didn't state if your husband paid rent or had a lease with his parents.
In any event, if you are a holdover tenant, the father has to formally evict you. Moreover, he has to give you proper notice under the law before hand. If you don't want to hire a lawyer, read the following information
