missing ex
my ex has been missing for some time now and I am wondering if I could get help financially from his social security. His child support is almost 30,000 dollars. Nobody can find him police or domestics so doesn' t this entitle my daughter to his social security?

No one is ever entitled to someone else's SS benefit. SSA has obligation to pay child support.
However, a minor child of a deceased worker may be entitled to a survivor's benefit. You'll need a death certificate. So if he is just "missing" there is not much you can do.
Also, a minor child of a disabled worker may be entitled to an auxiliary benefit.
If your ex were collecting disability, he could be easily found. If he is working "on the books" he can be easily found as well. Ask you local Domestic Relations office to conduct a search using his SS#. Both PA law & federal SS Regs allow this search. The IRS should also be able to attach his income tax refund for unpaid support.
If he is working "under the table" locating him will be difficult.
