residence & divorce

I am currently filing for divorce, however I do not have a permanent residence (only POBox). I am living with a girl friend. Can the court or my ex count her income as part of my resources or any other part of her resources. I am not paying any rent to my girl friend, however I am still paying on the house my ex is living in.

Re: residence & divorce

Her income would not be included. That you have reduced expenses due to not paying rent could be considered in a request for spousal support or attorney's fees. Good Luck, Pat McCrary
