small claims judgements

If you win a judgement in small claims court related to work preformed at his residence what happens to the defendant if he doesn't pay? Is there a lien placed on the house?

Re: small claims judgements

First wait for the appeals period. Generally 30 days. If no appeal filed make sure the judgment is showing up under the correct name in the court's judgment index.

They should give you a procedure to enforce the judgment including having the sheriff sell personal property.
