You could’ve restructure the mortgage and consolidated any other debt, Without losing credit for 15 years. If the bankruptcy filing has not gone through yet she sai without losing credit for 15 years. If the bankruptcy filing has not gone through yet stop it and call me.
For what it is worth, I advise my clients almost never to file for bankruptcy… It almost always works out worse then any other conceivable option. If you have already filed and granted bankruptcy though there are other steps we can take to try and mitigate the damage.
