If a person owes back taxes and has a tax levy with the IRS, will this effect the upcoming coronavirus stimulus checks being sent out to citizens? Trying to determine if people should get their hopes up or be prepared for no assistance.
What do you mean by "has a tax levy?" What did the IRS levy?
In any event, I do not know the answer. My guess is the answer is no. You should try to cure and resolve your tax issues before these checks are sent out (whenever that might be.)
