My company has been effected by the covid19– we were given three options voluntary unemployment form which I am uncomfortable signing because I was forced to not work, regular unemployment meaning if I chose this option they may not take me back and the final option which is leave of absence: do you think I should sign a form that says I voluntarily quit just to save my paid time off & other benefits?
Hello:
It would be up to the Appeal Board to determine whether under such circumstances a voluntary termination was made with a compelling clause - whatis your immediate need because with the uncertainity of this health care crisis, that is the first question.
