How do I extend the statue of limitation beyond the 2-year limit until I finish with the physical therapy treatment?

I was a driver got injured in a major car accident 4 years ago that required a surgery. Two years later, as a passenger I got hit from behind again. One of my leg is still numb with regular back soreness. The single attorney handles both of my case. He has advised me to settle the 2nd case first but I'm not ready. What is the limitation in California to file a claim for bodily injury?

Exceeding numeric restriction on interrogatoties

I am a plaintiff in pro per. I am using the interrogatories form DISC-001 and checking all the relevant questions that I want the defendant to answer. The total number of questions checked came to 20. By studing Model Interrogatories by Kevin R. Culhane, I am propounding additional 50 questions to the defendant. Since my total questions exceed the number of specially prepared interrogatories permitted by Section 2030.030 of the Code of Civil Procedure, I prepared a declration for additional discovery. Here are my questions:

1) Can I put sequential numbers on 20 checked questions on DISC-001?

2) What should be the starting number on the set of additional interrogatories?

3) Can I use declration for additional discovery for RFA and request for production of documents?

Minor arrest

My younger sisters were both arrested in the city of Anderson they are both minors. They were arrested without my mothers knowledge. They drug tested them (blood and urine) without my mothers consent. What are my sisters rights, they are 14 and 16 years old. The 14 year old was arrested after being jumped by 3 other girls, (unsure of age). They would not allow my mother to press charges either. What are the rights of minors and parents when a minor is arrested with the parent not around.

Settling in good faith

I am a plaintiff in pro per. I filed an unlimited civil lawsuit in the superior court against three defendants for causing extensive damage to my property. I reached a good faith settlement with one of the defendants and dismissed the case.

Due to discovery of new facts, I filed a motion, declaration and the points and authorities with the court to receive a leave to amend my complaint.

One of the defendants is now asking me to file a motion to get his approval for the good faith settlement that I reached with one of the defendants. He is also asking me to agree that the settlement money I have received should be credited to him and must be subtracted from any judgments that I may receive.

Prescribed forms to dismiss a lawsuit

I am representing myself in an unlimited civil lawsuit against two defendants. One of the defendants has reached a settlement with me. However, the other defendant does not want to settle.

I like to dismiss my lawsuit against the agreeing defendant and continue with the remaining defendant. Are there any prescribed forms to dismiss my lawsuit against the agreeing defendant and continue my lawsuit with the second one?

Also, do I need to be aware of any issues that might be played by the second defendeant if I dismiss my lawsuit against the first defendant?

Home Owner's Association abusing their authority?

We live in Lakeland FL in a subdivision with 40 mobile homes only. The HOA just had a meeting and decided to keep the association (they had been inactive for almost 2 yrs ). We don't see any need to have this HOA because each person owns their home with land, there is nothing the HOA is responsible for paying in our subdivision. Street lights and garbage taxes are paid annualy in our own personal taxes, there is no gate, no watch person, etc. Road belongs to the county, so it also comes from our taxes. The HOA charges $25/yr from each home but I don't see anything being done. There is no need for this since each one is responsible for their own expenses, insurances, keeping their yards, etc, etc. Is there a legal/not so expensive way to dissolve this HOA? They are presently using some of this money to promote a Xmas decoration contest. This is NOT written in the HOA papers. Aren't they abusing their authority and wouldn't this be a good reason to end it all? No serious use of our money, so why keep it?
