my fiance is a us citizen. his family are dominican citizens. he married a dominican citizen aprox 19 yrs ago. they have been split up with no contact for 11 yrs. if she files for a divorce from him, in the dominican republic, which is where they were married, how long should that take? They have two children, ages 18 and 19 yrs old. will he need to sign the papers? how much should it cost...we have been waiting for this since december, and i have already sent his family $500.00 american money to pay for it. whats the process?

You would have to ask an attorney located in the Dominican Republic.
