Rights of Underage Mothers

My biological daughter is underaged and is now pregnant. Her grandparents adopted her and now want her to give up parental rights to her child to someone else. IS there any legal bindings that I could have to my biological grandchild if I am not the legal guardian of my daughter?

Re: Rights of Underage Mothers

Chances are the answer to your question is no. There are no inherent rights of the Grandparents, this would be true even if you have legal guardianship of your daughter.

If your daughter wants to give up custody of her child then you could apply to adopt the child, or become the legal guardian.
