if i put an order of protection to my husband in the Family court and the judge put a date for both of us to go to court again...what could happen? could he go to jail? i put the order because he threatened me and on dec. he hit me and i have pics of that. We have a son...

Most probably you will have a hearing. If the judge finds that you are entitled to an Order of Protection, then he/she will issue an Order to that effect. Your husband will not go to jail. However, if he violates the Order and if you decide to file a "violation" proceedings and win, then the judge could issue an Order to jail him.
