15 mph over is a four point ticket. If found guilty will likely result in increased insurance premiums. There could be other issues as well depending on your record. Consulting an attorney would be a good idea.

What you are seeking is a not guilty or dismissal of your speeding ticket. No points. No fines. In NYC every ticket goes to trial. It is win or lose. Consider hiring an attorney to fight this ticket for you. Select an attorney who specializes in Traffic matters. At least call for a consultation.

As the other attorneys stated, they will not plea bargain your ticket. You can plead not guilty and force a trial. Hire an attorney to cross examine the police officer to challenge his opinion of your speed or attack the radar gun.

There is no magic get out of jail free card. NYC does not plea bargain so your only choices are plead guilty or go to trial. Obviously, you best chances of winning at trial are by hiring a traffic attorney that knows the law, rules of evidence, and what arguments to make. There are no guarantees however.

You are well advised here. There is no plea bargaining in the TVB. Hire a traffic attorney familiar with practicing before the TVB.

Consider hiring a lawyer who handles traffic tickets. If you hire an attorney, many times, you do not have to go to traffic court. Your attorney can make the appearance for you.
